Guys and Dolls Rehearsal Video!

Our rehearsal process has kicked off strong this season. The leads are learning their lines and songs, big groups are learning choreography and blocking, and student leaders are keeping everybody on point.

We're ESPECIALLY excited to be bringing the Havana scene home to its classic AfroCuban roots, integrating traditional AfroCuban, Mambo, Salsa and Casino de Rueda movements into our interpretation.

Here is some rehearsal footage to check out... fun for fans to catch a glimpse behind the scenes, and GREAT for dancers to use for at-home practice.

"Breaking Together" - Bronx Prep's First-Ever Experimental Drama

Student-devised, student-directed... a show that started with a single pop song, broken apart lyrically and reconfigured into three original performance pieces-- an original scene, an art exhibit and a series of tableaux-- presented throughout the school with the audience being led around by face-painted tour guides, and culminating in a rousing dance-number finale. Weird, challenging, and wonderful.

Performers broke apart the lyrics of "The Dog Days are Over" by Florence and the Machine and reinterpreted them in tableaux form to create a haunting visual performance.
